Hello Tumblr, my name is Katrina and I’m a starving artist. I know there are a lot of artists here, but I’d like to expand my talent to other places. So far I have done commission work in my own city. People have asked me to paint their loved ones and favorite pets, places, and things. I would like for you guys to give me ideas- crazy ones, if you have any. I would also like for you guys to help me fund for college, in the process of spreading my art to other people. Though I work part time, I still want to pursue my artistic side and make people happy. So this way, it’s a win-win situation. I love painting! And I love making people happy with my work. So please help me out. I want to be able to travel around the world one day to admire and be thankful to the artistic beauty many founding artists has bought to this world. Thank you so much!

Here are a few of my pieces. I know they are not the best, but I am working on it! :)

“Warriors of the Bed” 2013

I did this one in High School as part of an art assignment. I know this isn’t really a commission. 

“Lovers” 2014

This was a commission work for a mother that lost her husband a year ago. I followed a picture her daughter provided to me. 

“Memories of Jordan” 2015

This was also a commission work for the parents of Jordan, who died of a gas station shooting two years ago. 

“Artist’s replication: Mona Lisa”

This isn’t a commission, just an artist replication of The Mona Lisa using acrylic paint. I did this in my own time. 

“Play Time” 2014

“Alpso Lhasa” 2014

These two paintings were a commission for a lady. She loved her dogs so she asked me to paint them for her. 

“Jordan in Service (ROTC)” 2015 

This was also for the parents of Jordan. I made them as a commission piece for a friend of Jordan. 

“The Tomb” 2013

This was commission work for my church’s fund raising event. This is one of a few paintings I did, which I forgot to take pictures of them. I managed to take this though (luckily).

This was a Christmas gift for someone. Not really a commission work.
